Company Details:

Beckyanne Theriot has been the founder and owner of A First-Class Move® (AFCM) for eight years with sole responsibility as the creator and leader of all aspects of the business. Her role as the sole owner encompasses such duties as: the day-to-day business operation coordination, complete marketing and sales efforts, crucial medium-and long-range planning, any necessary research and development, and all other significant divisional services. In the past thirty years, she has dedicated most of her life to the service of others and brings a wealth of past experience in Estate Management, Marketing and Sales, Property Management and Interior Design to the elderservice industry.
Throughout her life, she has continued to engage in various courses of study in order to compliment the particular business endeavors she pursues. She currently holds a specialized degree in Lifestyle Transition Administration from George Mason University, as well as Certifications in Hospitality and Gerontology. She also has an International Butler Certificate from The International Butler Academy, located in The Netherlands, and she holds memberships in numerous organizations (listed in the website) relating to her chosen profession.
Her current business stems from her passion in assisting the elderly with the inevitable lifestyle transitions that accompany their ever-changing living situations. To this end, she is involved with several elder-care professional organizations in the Washington DC Metroplex that cater to the needs of our aging population, including: DC Senior Resource Group (she chaired the DCSRG 2009 annual event, reinventing it as “The Big Event”, helping to further raise the organization’s profile in the aging services world), Arlington Steering Committee (where she is a part of TRIAD, which was initiated in order to pair community leaders and government with law enforcement to help stamp out scam artists who are preying upon the elderly) and National Association of Retirement Counselors, among others.
